Local Media Player does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
The app connects only to the media sources you configure (your Jellyfin server or SMB/NAS shares). Those connections go directly from your Apple TV to your servers; we never receive or proxy your media or library.
Server and share credentials, and your optional OpenSubtitles login, are stored securely in the Apple Keychain on your device and are used only to connect to those services. They are never sent to us.
When you use them, the app requests poster/metadata from TMDB and (if you link an account) subtitles from OpenSubtitles, using your own account quota. These requests are subject to those services' own privacy policies.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
