Getting started

• Open SignWall on the Apple TV. It shows a six-character code.
• Open SignWall on the iPhone and allow Local Network access when asked.
• Tap your Apple TV in the list and type the code.
• Add photos, videos or a card, then tap Publish.

The iPhone cannot find my Apple TV

• Both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
• SignWall must be open on the Apple TV.
• Check Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network and make sure SignWall is on. iOS asks for this only once, so if it was declined it has to be enabled here.
• Then use “Search again” in the app.

My sign stopped after a power cut

tvOS returns to its Home screen after a restart and no app can launch itself on Apple TV. Open SignWall again and the sign resumes immediately — nothing is lost and no re-pairing is needed.

A photo or video was refused

Photos must be JPEG, PNG or HEIC. Videos can be up to 60 seconds and 150 MB after conversion. SignWall tells you which limit was hit.

Scheduling

A slide with a time window only appears inside it, using the Apple TV’s own clock. A window that ends before it starts runs past midnight. If nothing is scheduled for the current moment, the whole playlist plays, because a blank screen looks broken.
