What We Collect — Nothing
IPTVflix is a local media player. It does not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, usage statistics, or any personal information.
What Stays On Your Device
- Your playlist sources (M3U URLs or Xtream API credentials)
- Your favorites, watch history, and playback position
- Your language and playback preferences
- EPG / TV guide data fetched from your configured source
All data is stored locally using SwiftData on your Apple TV. None of it is transmitted to IPTVflix servers — because there are no IPTVflix servers.
Credentials & Security
If you provide Xtream API credentials (server, username, password), they are stored securely in the device Keychain using Apple's standard security framework. They are never logged, transmitted, or shared.
Network Access
IPTVflix connects to the internet only to:
- Fetch playlist data from URLs you provide
- Stream media from URLs contained in your playlist
- Fetch EPG / TV guide data from sources you configure
All network destinations are exclusively those you configure yourself. IPTVflix makes no other outbound connections.
Third-Party Services
IPTVflix does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics services, or social login providers.
Children's Privacy
IPTVflix does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Because no data is collected, this app is safe for use by all ages from a data-privacy perspective.
Changes to This Policy
Any future changes to this privacy policy will be posted on this page. The effective date at the top will be updated accordingly.
Support
How do I add a playlist?
Open Settings in the tab bar, then tap Add Playlist Source. You can import an M3U/M3U8 URL or connect via Xtream API using your server, username, and password.
How do I control playback?
Use the Siri Remote:
- Swipe left/right — Seek backward/forward 10 seconds
- Swipe up — Show audio, subtitle, and aspect ratio controls
- Play/Pause button — Toggle playback
- Menu button — Exit player or dismiss controls overlay
How do I set up the TV Guide?
In Settings, tap your playlist, then tap Add EPG / XMLTV URL. Enter your XMLTV source URL and tap Sync EPG Now. The TV Guide tab will then show program information for your channels.
Why are there no channels after installing?
IPTVflix is a player — it does not include any built-in channels, subscriptions, or content. You must provide your own playlist URL from a service you subscribe to legally.

Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for adding only content sources that you have the legal right to access. IPTVflix does not verify the legality of any playlist or stream source you provide.
No Account Required
All your playlists, favorites, watch history, and preferences are stored locally on your Apple TV. No account is required. No data is sent to any server operated by IPTVflix.
Third-Party Content
Any content accessed through this player is solely the responsibility of the provider and the user. IPTVflix makes no warranties regarding the availability, quality, or legality of third-party streams.
